Intex PureSpa END: heating has hibernated

END means that after 72 hours of continuous heating the pump hibernates, and rapid heating and filtration are disabled. This wording is from Intex manual 347IO, printed 16 May 2024, for PureSpa SB-H20 at 220-240 V, 50 Hz. The parts table lists 28426, 28430 and 28476 for 4 adults (795 L) and 28428 and 28432 for 6 adults (1098 L).

After 72 hours of continuous heating operation, the pump will hibernate automatically. The rapid heating and water filtration functions are disabled.

Models this page covers: 28426, 28430, 28476, 28428, 28432

Do this first

  1. Settings

    Press the filter button

Press the filter button to turn the filter pump on again. The English chart prints a filter-cartridge symbol in front of the word button. The Dutch edition of the same manual names that control the filter button. Do not open the housing.

When to call a technician

Call a technician now if

  • The breaker or the RCD trips when the pump is plugged in.
  • You smell burning, see melted plastic, or the water is too hot to touch.
  • The code comes back after one reset.

Also call for these, from the manual

  • Contact an Intex service centre if END comes back at once and the filter button does not start the pump. The chart's only step is that button.

Questions

Does END mean the heater has failed?

Not by this line. The cause is 72 hours of continuous heating, after which the pump hibernates and rapid heating and filtration are disabled. The printed step is the filter button. A failed heater is not what this row says.
