Lay-Z-Spa maintenance
The first jobs are on this page. The longer jobs, including winter and the 2050 W nameplate, each have their own page.
These steps are from the 2025 Bestway AirJet manual 303021379874 and the 2025 HydroJet manual 303021371869. Both name pump models S100202, S200202, S300202, S400202. Marketing names such as Paris or Miami are not in these manuals. A 2020 edition states the cold and hot alarms differently, so the temperatures on this page are only for the 2025 manuals.
Do this on a normal day
Unplug the pump before any maintenance.
Check and clean the filter cartridge every day. Change it every week, or sooner if it stays soiled and discoloured after washing.
Run the filtration and do the chemical maintenance every day. Keep the cover on while the spa is heating and whenever nobody is in it.

Unplug first
Both manuals say to unplug the pump before any hot tub maintenance. Leave the housing closed.

Filter every day
Check and clean the cartridge every day. Change it every week, or if it is still soiled and discoloured after washing. When you empty the spa, clean the filter as well.

Cover and chemicals
Keep the cover on tightly while the water heats and between uses. Take it off while someone is using the spa. Chemical maintenance is every day, and nobody should be in the water while you dose.

Questions
Does this cover every Lay-Z-Spa?
It covers the pumps named in these two 2025 manuals: S100202, S200202, S300202, S400202. Marketing names are not in those PDFs. A 2020 manual uses different temperatures for the cold and hot alarms. Do not mix that edition in.
Why are some jobs not a numbered drawing?
Draining, drying, inflating, and the filter wash are drawings in the manuals. This site does not redraw them. Each page links the PDF.
