Water is not clean

Cloudy, milky, or grey water is one row in these manuals. The row is called “Water is not clean.” It does not split those words into different faults.

Facts on this page are from the 2025 Bestway AirJet manual 303021379874 and the 2025 HydroJet manual 303021371869. Both name pump models S100202, S200202, S300202, S400202. Marketing names such as Paris or Miami are not in these manuals.

The three checks on that row

Run the filter for longer. The manual’s line is “Increase filtration time.”

If the cartridge is dirty, clean or replace it. Unplug the pump before you take it out. The wash itself is a drawing.

For “Improper water maintenance,” follow the label on the chemical you have. This row does not print a gram dose.

Cause in the manual What the manual says to do
Insufficient filtering time. Increase filtration time.
Dirty filter cartridge. Clean/replace the filter cartridge (refer to Filter Cartridge Cleaning and Replacement section).
Improper water maintenance. Refer to the chemical manufacturer's instructions.

Pumps named in these manuals: S100202, S200202, S300202, S400202

The cartridge wash is a drawing in the manual. This page does not redraw it.

  1. Increase filtration time

That is the first solution printed next to “Water is not clean.” These manuals do not say how many extra hours. They already say to run filtration and do chemical maintenance every day.

  2. Clean or replace the cartridge

The same row says to clean or replace a dirty filter cartridge, and points to the filter-cleaning drawing. Unplug first. The maintenance pages say to check the cartridge every day and change it every week, or sooner if it stays soiled after washing.

  3. Follow the label, not a guess

The third line says to refer to the chemical manufacturer’s instructions. The owner’s manuals and the ClearWater pages behind the dosage calculator do not use the same table. The filter page sets those two tables side by side. This troubleshooting row does not add a third dose.

What this row does not name

Green water, foam, a bad smell, and scale are not their own rows in these two manuals. This page does not invent a cause or a dose for them. Use the three checks above, then the label.

Calcium hardness is printed on the chemical table as 200-400 ppm. These manuals do not print a way to raise or lower it.

Intex manual 347IO does name foam, an odor, and scale, as results when its own test range is missed. Those lines stay on the PureSpa water page. They are not added to this row.

Questions

The water is green, foamy, or it smells. Which code is that?

No code, and no separate troubleshooting row in these 2025 manuals. Both only have “Water is not clean,” with the three checks on this page. A smell, foam, or a green tint is not given its own cause here. Manual 347IO is a different book and has its own page.

Water is dripping at the pump adapters. Is that the same fault?

No. The HydroJet manual has a different row: “Water leaks from the adapters between the pump and hot tub.” The cause is “Seals are missing inside the pump adapters.” The solution is: “Insert the stopper caps on the hot tub ports to prevent the water from escaping and disconnect the pump. Check if the seals are in place.” The AirJet manual’s page 18 does not print that row.
