Power use
People look here for a winter electricity figure. These manuals do not print one.
These steps are from the 2025 Bestway AirJet manual 303021379874 and the 2025 HydroJet manual 303021371869. Both name pump models S100202, S200202, S300202, S400202. Marketing names such as Paris or Miami are not in these manuals. A 2020 edition states the cold and hot alarms differently, so the temperatures on this page are only for the 2025 manuals.
What the manuals actually print
They do not publish kilowatt-hours per day or per season. The heater nameplate, on both manuals, is 220-240V AC, 50 Hz, 2050 W.
They do not say how long the element stays on. If it ran for a full hour at that printed rating, the arithmetic is 2.05 kWh. That hour is not a measurement from the manual, and it is not a daily total.
A heating-time table is printed and marked purely for reference. It is hours to reach 40°C (104°F), not kilowatt-hours. The heater rate may change below 15°C (59°F), or if the cover is off or not seated. No new wattage is printed.

Read the nameplate, then stop
Both manuals print 220-240V AC, 50 Hz, 2050 W at the heater specification. Wi-Fi output is not this number. The AirJet manual prints Wi-Fi 19 dBm and Bluetooth 10 dBm. The HydroJet manual prints Wi-Fi 18 dBm and Bluetooth 8 dBm.

Cover, cloth, filter, set temperature
The manuals’ own ways to lose less heat: keep the cover on and fitted while heating or unused, use an insulating ground cloth, keep the filters clean, and lower the set temperature when the spa will not be used. The default set point is 35°C (95°F). You can set 20°C (68°F) to 40°C (104°F). The heat button is red while heating and green when the set temperature is reached. Filtration starts with the heater and keeps running after you turn the heater off.

The timer on the pump is not a plug-in timer
The power-saving timer sets a heating run of 1-999 hours and a wait of 0-999 hours before heating starts. A wait of 0 hours means heating starts immediately. It is not automatic. After one cycle you set it again. Hold the timer button for 2 seconds to cancel. A separate warning says this appliance must not be supplied through an external switching device, such as a timer, because the thermal cut-out could reset. Do not put the plug on a plug-in timer.
If the PRCD cuts the power
A PRCD in the cord cuts power if leakage is more than 10 mA. Unplug and stop. Do not repair it yourself. The supply should be earthed, and the manuals also say the spa must be supplied through an RCD whose residual current does not exceed 30 mA, with the PRCD on the cord at 10 mA. Test the PRCD before each use by following the pump’s own instructions. If the test fails, do not use the pump.
A solid yellow RCD/PRCD light means it has detected a high temperature. Look at the plug body and the wall socket for signs of overheating. If you see any, stop. If you see none, unplug, wait one hour, and plug it back into the wall socket. If the yellow light goes, the manual says you can continue. If it stays, stop, have an electrician inspect the socket, and use Bestway support. Do not open the housing.
Heating times printed for reference
Both manuals say this table is purely for reference, for water reaching 40°C (104°F). In each row the outdoor temperature and the starting water temperature are the same. Run the filter for at least a minute before you trust the temperature on the display. These are hours, not kilowatt-hours.
| Outdoor | Starting water | Set to | Time in the manual |
|---|---|---|---|
| 10°C (50°F) | 10°C (50°F) | 40°C (104°F) | 16-24 hours |
| 15°C (59°F) | 15°C (59°F) | 40°C (104°F) | 12-20 hours |
| 20°C (68°F) | 20°C (68°F) | 40°C (104°F) | 10-18 hours |
| 25°C (77°F) | 25°C (77°F) | 40°C (104°F) | 8-12 hours |
| 30°C (86°F) | 30°C (86°F) | 40°C (104°F) | 5-8 hours |

Questions
How many kWh does it use in winter?
These manuals do not say. They print 2050 W and they print reference heating times. They do not say how long the element stays on, including while Freeze Shield is holding 6°C (42.8°F) to 10°C (50°F).
The display and my thermometer disagree. Is the heater over-reading?
The manuals say an external thermometer may differ from the panel by as much as approximately 3°C (37.4°F). That pair is printed as written, including 37.4°F next to 3°C. This page does not convert it into another figure. The display can also be wrong until filtration has run for at least a minute.
Can I put the plug on a socket timer to save power?
No. The manuals say not to supply the appliance through an external switching device such as a timer. Use the power-saving timer on the panel if you want a timed heat. That one still has to be set again after every cycle, and it does not publish a kWh figure.
