Store the spa

Damp storage is how the manuals say mold damages the liner. Dry it before it is packed.

These steps are from the 2025 Bestway AirJet manual 303021379874 and the 2025 HydroJet manual 303021371869. Both name pump models S100202, S200202, S300202, S400202. Marketing names such as Paris or Miami are not in these manuals. A 2020 edition states the cold and hot alarms differently, so the temperatures on this page are only for the 2025 manuals.

What has to be true before it is packed

The liner, the inflatable cover, the pump, and the accessories have to be completely clean and dry. If they are not, mold can damage the liner in storage.

Fold the liner only when the air around it is above 15°C (59°F).

Store it in a dry place between 15°C (59°F) and 38°C (100°F). The manuals strongly recommend a carton around the liner and the inflatable cover for the winter.

Pumps named in these manuals: S100202, S200202, S300202, S400202

Where a manual says to follow a drawing, this page does not redraw it. The PDF is linked below.

  1. Dry, then pack

Remove the accessories. Liner, inflatable cover, pump, and accessories all completely clean and dry. The same dry-storage temperature is in the contents page: a dry place between the two temperatures above.

  2. Fold only when it is warm enough

Fold the liner only above 15°C (59°F), so the material can flex. The spa has a deflation function that pulls the air out of the chamber. Deflating is a drawing.

  3. Carton for the winter

Put the liner and the inflatable cover in a carton. That is the manuals’ recommendation for the winter months, not an extra product we are adding.

A small repair, from the same pages

The AirJet manual says the deflate and repair steps are not for ThermaCore foam hot tubs. It marks 2a for inflatable hot tubs and 2b for FortiFiber drop stitch. The HydroJet manual’s storage text does not repeat that exclusion. Do not use these fold and patch steps on a foam tub.

Cover or interior floor: clean the area, peel the patch, stick it on, wait 30 seconds before you inflate again.

Walls or exterior floor: glue is not included. Do not peel the patch. Coat one side, wait 30 seconds, press out the bubbles and hold for 2 minutes, then wait 30 minutes before you inflate again.

Questions

Can I fold it in a cold garage?

Only if that air is above 15°C (59°F). Storage itself has to stay dry and between 15°C (59°F) and 38°C (100°F).

Does this include a foam hot tub?

The AirJet manual says those deflate and repair steps are not for ThermaCore foam. The HydroJet storage text we checked does not repeat the sentence. Treat a foam tub as outside these steps.
